The<\/span> Solemnity of Corpus Christi<\/strong> is one of the most important feasts in the liturgical calendar, dedicated to adoring, praising and giving thanks for the ineffable gift of the<\/span> real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.<\/strong>. Celebrated on the Thursday following the Solemnity of the Holy Trinity (or the following Sunday, depending on the country), it invites us to renew our faith in the mystery of the Holy Trinity. <\/span>Body and Blood of Christ.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What do we celebrate at Corpus Christi?<\/span><\/h5>\n

On this solemnity, the Church joyfully proclaims that Jesus is truly present in the<\/span> Blessed Sacrament of the altar<\/strong>: His Body, His Blood, His Soul and His Divinity. It is not a symbol or a representation: it is the living Christ, who remains with us under the species of bread and wine. <\/span><\/p>\n

This feast has its origins in the 13th century and was instituted to affirm publicly and solemnly this central truth of our faith. In many communities, it is celebrated with Eucharistic processions through the streets, where the faithful people accompany the Lord with songs, flowers and adoration. <\/span><\/p>\n

Worship: responding with love to his presence<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The<\/span> Eucharistic adoration<\/b> is the act of faith and love par excellence before the real presence of Jesus.
