Its origin is found in the biblical tradition of the \u201cJubilee Year\u201d, mentioned in the   <\/span><b>Book of Leviticus (25:8-13)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, where a year of liberation, restoration and mercy was proclaimed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>The theme for the Jubilee 2025<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pope Francis has announced that the theme of the <\/span><b>Jubilee 2025 <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will be <\/span><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em><b>\u201cPilgrims of Hope\u201d<\/b><\/em><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><em>. <\/em><\/span>This motto invites us to walk with faith and trust in God, remembering that the world needs hope in the midst of difficulties.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #003366;\"><strong>Why is the Jubilee being celebrated in 2025?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following the tradition of the Church, a<\/span><b> Holy Year<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or <\/span><b>Ordinary Jubilee<\/b> is proclaimed every 25 years.<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This event offers the faithful the opportunity to receive indulgences, be reconciled with God and renew their faith commitment. In addition, this Jubilee will be a time of special celebration after the challenges humanity has faced in recent times.  <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #003366;\">What are we called to in this Jubilee?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">The Jubilee is not just a celebration, but an invitation to conversion and action.
