We are living in difficult times in which wars, poverty and inequality have come to the fore in global society. It is a situation in which human solidarity is needed more than ever.

Through our care homes and soup kitchens, we witness stories of vulnerability, despair and resilience, which remind us that love for one’s neighbour remains the Gospel’s most authentic response. That is why our mission is more important today than ever before, helping hundreds of people to find much more than just assistance or comfort: they find a family, a listening ear and a home.

At our soup kitchens in Calarcá (Colombia) and Bachaquero (Venezuela), we not only provide a meal, but also offer education and training to all highly vulnerable children. Furthermore, this support also extends to the work we carry out in our care homes, where we support elderly women through care, companionship and a constant presence, which, in turn, reminds them that they are still deeply valued.

However, carrying out this mission is not the sole responsibility of our congregation; it also depends on the generosity of people who selflessly offer their donations, enabling our charism to continue reaching those places where it is most needed.
