At the very heart of who we are as Angelic Religious Sisters lies the source from which everything else flows: the Heart of Jesus. We do not see it merely as a symbol of devotion, but as a living fountain from which all our actions spring. It is a love that is not admired from a distance, but lived outwardly, reaching toward others—especially those most in need, those who may have lost hope or are living in loneliness.

As Angelic Religious Sisters, we carry the charism entrusted to us by our Foundress, Saint Genoveva Torres, to every corner of the world, striving always to love as Christ loves the world. It is a love that flows directly from His Heart—a love we celebrate today, Friday, June 12, with gratitude and joy.

For us, mercy is not merely a theological concept, but a concrete way of looking at the person before us. This perspective is reflected in the daily care we provide in our residences for elderly women, in our ongoing support of the soup kitchens in Calarcá and Bachaquero, and in the patient and loving attention we offer to those who need a listening ear or a helping hand to lean on.

In each of these gestures, the Heart of Christ beats in a real and everyday way. It is precisely there—in the small and often unnoticed acts of love—that we find the deepest meaning of our vocation and the certainty that this love has the power to restore dignity and hope to those who have lost them.
