Mother General Enedina Fernández made an official visit to Mexico City last November, accompanied by the Hna. Araceli Jiménez Upon their arrival on 18 November, both were warmly welcomed by the community of sisters, the ladies’ board of trustees and the staff of the residence.
On 19 November, the Mother General held a working meeting with the board of trustees, during which important matters concerning the work and management of the residence were discussed.. The day continued with a A fraternal meal, during which a special tribute was paid to Doña Elena T. on the occasion of her birthday.
In addition, as part of her visit, Mother Enedina also met with the women who receive the most assistance., whom she visited personally in their rooms. The residents expressed their joy at the presence of the Mother General and thanked her for the gesture of closeness and attention shown during this meeting.
