With the arrival of December, the Church invites us to experience two deeply connected seasons: Advent, a time of preparation and hope, and Christmas, a joyful celebration of the mystery of God becoming a child to dwell among us.

Advent It is a four-week journey that prepares us inwardly to receive Jesus. It is a time of active hope, of fruitful silence, of loving vigilance. It is not a countdown to gifts, but a gentle ascent to the heart of God.

From the Angelic Sisters, we invite you to experience Advent through listening and contemplation, accompanied by a very special resource: our new Advent podcast, available on the web:

👉 Listen to it here: angelicas.es/podcast-advent

In each episode, you will find a simple reflection to brighten your day, a prayer, and a concrete invitation to prepare your heart. A beautiful way to journey towards Christmas from within!

Practical ideas for living Advent:

  • Light a candle each week with a specific intention (faith, hope, joy, peace).
  • Set aside time each day for personal or family prayer.
  • Create inner silence: turn off the noise to hear God.
  • Do one charitable deed per week.
  • Reconcile: confess and open your soul to the light of God.

Celebrating Christmas is much more than commemorating a historical event. It is renewing the most tender mystery of our faith: The eternal God enters our history as a small, vulnerable, approachable child.. Jesus was born in Bethlehem, but he also wants to be born in our lives.

¡The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us’ (Jn 1:14)

Christmas is a celebration of light, humility and hope. It reminds us that we are not alone, that God has chosen to walk with us from within. That his presence transforms our wounds, brings joy to our loneliness and calls us to live with a renewed heart.

Ask yourself this year: Is your heart ready to welcome him? What place does Jesus occupy in your Christmas?

From the Angelic Sisters, we wish you a fruitful Advent and a Christmas filled with God’s presence.

Come, Lord Jesus. Come and dwell in our hearts.
